Park hopping

The city of San Mateo (our home) has an abundant supply of parks/playgrounds. I have always known this and I have wanted to start visiting some of the other less frequented parks (We get bored of the same 'ol swings and play structures). So I went to the city website and they have a real convenient map with all the parks marked! There is even a legend to identify the parks with playstructures! (I know, I am a nerd). Today we went park hopping. We started at 8 and headed home at 11. The boys didn't even know what hit them. They could barely hold up their heads at lunch. What comes next.......you guessed it....a lunap eclipse!

Lunar eclipse

As we approach week 3 of daddy daycare I will pray for more lunar eclipses. What does a lunar eclipse have to do w daycare? A lunar eclipse is very rare and it take precise planetary/star alignment. It is very rare for both boys to nap at once but when it happens it is amazing.

After a long day, Mama and her boys love to wind down with a little snuggle time.

The naked lawn service

Nico fell into the pool today so I stripped him, sunscreened him and let him continue his lawn mowing duties. Priceless.

Daddy daycare

Being off from school and with the boys all day is great. They are so much fun. Everyday we notice something new to marvel at. Nico is really getting the hang of waving... to everone. This isn't really news but Benny has a constant desire to "see girls". We went to a schoolyard to ride bikes and he asks, "are there going to be girls there daddy?" You may know Benny is extremely socialable. He says hello/hi to everyone. Some return salutations, others ignore him. Its a cruel world! Wink. Nico is picking up a lot of words from Benny.....like "NO". Both boys sleep in the same room now. Sometimes we wake up to find Ben in Nicos crib. Other times we wake up because Benny is in our bed. @ 6am! Summer has got a lot in store for us. We will try to keep posting!

Mount up

Benny rode the bike by himself for the first time on Monday. Awesome!
