Today we trekked out into the cold for our traditional Christmas tree tailgate. We had donuts and hot chocolate. There was a horse drawn hay ride and the boys only had one meltdown each. We came home with a skimpy frasir fur but we love it. Time to decorate! Tis the season.
Well our little baby ain't so little anymore! Other than doing things he shouldn't be doing he spends a lot of his time following his big brothers or pointing at things he wants to do. This pic he's telling me "hey Dad, lets go that way!" That's my interpretation of it anyway. ;)
If you didn't already read my FB page now you know we closed the deal! It feels so darn good! We are moving in slowly and still staying with Dale and Judy. On Saturday we will make the final push and bring our mattresses and clothes and spend our first night here. So many pictures to come soon!
The boys nursery school had a family fun night. A bouncy house, smores, donuts, cider and a blazing campfire! The boys loved it! We loved it too! And we even got a good photo. Rare bonus!!!!
In the foothills of the Sierras is a 15 mile descent referred to as the Downieville downhill. Always an epic trip. This upper photo is day 1 and the lower photo is day 2.
Benny was holding his weekly driver ed class at the local grocery store when he jumped out for a second to get a food sample and Crosby took over. Clean up in aisle 6!!!!
Not quite finished yet but this will be our "mud room". I know, I didn't even know what a mud room was until I moved to Michigan. And now that I know what a mud room is, I am not sure it should be white especially considering there are "lockers" in it but it does look awesome.
So our builder wanted to do something "special" with the master bath. It's looking real nice right now. I feel like we are on a tv show like Bathroom crashers!
Crosby took his very first independent steps several times today. He is all wobbly and puts his little arms out like a robot and teeters for about 3-4 steps. YAY CROSBY!!!!
Our little baby is growing up too fast! Hopefully we can catch it on video and will share if we do.
Each day a little something is happening at the new house. Inside they have finished drywall and the first cost of primer. Next they will do cabinets and trim.
