We have been going to the library for board books and Ben just loves it. There is a kid friendly section with a carpeted play room etc. Good fun!

Anniversary

Well, we celebrated our anniversary @ mac grille. Great food and great family service. Ben got his own cup of vino!!!! Manja!

last day

Our vacation is coming to an end. We ski, read and play while watching bowl games.

Christmas morning

Benjamin let us sleep in til 730! Probably the last time that will happen for the next 20 years. Once we got out of bed, Carrie wrapped Bens puzzle toy. We headed for the tree to watch Ben open his present (yes, that is singular. Present. We had what we thought were crayons but they turned out to be markers. Not a good present so we scratched that from the list.) Marti toasted some great bagels and we lounged watching Ben and Elvis hug. It is white and snowing outside. The mountain is beautiful. A wonderful day!

In the spirit of football season, it just makes sense to teach your son how to hike you the ball. So, I took a few snaps under Center and Benny did just fine as you can see. (If I lost a few of you in translation....snap = hike, center = the person who hikes the ball to the Quarterback, of course that is me)

Happy Halloween

Our little yoda thoroughly enjoyed himself. He got to participate in a school parade and a halloween party.
At the last minute Jason and I decided it would be funny to borrow Obiwan and Leia costumes (thanks Emily and Gene!).
What wasn't so funny was that the Leia costume barely fit over my belly.

For the first time on our blog- announcing baby #2! Due in March. Benny will be a big brother! We are very excited!

So back to the costume story- I begged Jason to wear the Leia costume and he obliged. It was hysterical. Obi wan was perfect for me b/c it was just a big frock.

Yoda and Supergirl

1 year old

We had a great trip (except for the four shots) to the doctor. Ben is in good health. He still enjoys looking in the mirror at himself. He is in the 70th %tile for height!



We also turned Ben's carseat around so he can look forward. He enjoys watching the road ahead.

Maturation

Benjamin is maturing just fine these days. It is really cool to see the progress of his walking. I will try and attach videos (phone videos with poor quality) in chronological order. As I am writing this he is maturing and getting even better than the most recent video. So fun to watch. Except the one where he crashes. =(
